Specialist Interests
The main areas in which I have developed a special interest within Orthopaedic surgery are:
1. The management of trauma
2. Lower limb arthroplasty
3. Sports Injuries
4. Arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder
5. Examiner/ Author MRCS STEP Course, The Royal College of Surgeons of England
Private Practice
I have worked at The Wellington Hospital Knee Surgery Unit for over 10 years developing my continued interest in complex knee problems. The Wellington Hospital is a 266 bedded private hospital with a national and international reputation.
The Knee Unit operates within a self contained clinic and comprises 6 Surgeons with a specific interest in knee surgery. Patients are seen with both acute and chronic conditions as well as some paediatric knee surgery. The nature of the department is such that a number of complex and challenging knee problems are seen as tertiary referrals. There is an additional emphasis on teaching and research with meetings both at a local and international level as well as an in- house Research Fellow.
